Terminative 3 Information

Term!native 3 INFO : 2010

Mainly:

Terminative 3 is a closed community. Terminative 3 searches for good players, who are skilled in basic fighting and socially stable / friendly. Terminative 3 searches for people with potential to be good. We are a closed community. Not a clan / team or what so ever. We are here to help players and enjoy the game we play. People who join T³ can be / train / learn in any other community / clan / team they want to be / train / learn in. Special competitive (TFFA) community squads and other projects are created within  and supported by the Terminative 3 community, but they are not our main goal. Our main goal is to help people develop themselves more in what they like to do in JK3.

People who get through the selection and join Terminative 3 can make use of the things we offer and next to that just keep playing everywhere they want to play. People can then also chose, if they want and trained for it, to play in competitive squads,  just hang around with T³ members or maybe follow regular / personal training etc. 'Terminative 3' stands for the community 'Terminative 3'. Terminative 3 is a closed community. We don't let everyone make use our services. In order to use our services people will need to apply for Terminative 3. If they match the requirements (set by the Terminative 3 Management), then they can join our community and make use of what we offer. We always expect people to be / act adult, friendly and have respect for other JK3 players and their styles.

Further, the Terminative 3 Community is a portal for relatively experienced JK3 players. We play baseJKA (ffa/duel/tffa/ctf, the way it was intended to be played) but often also link people towards other mods and base communities (ffa/duel/ctf/siege/rpg/mb2/japlus etc). Terminative 3 will always be around in JK3. We are a place, a home which people can always fall back on, in active and inactive times. Terminative 3 expects it's members to act adult, be friendly, be able to handle criticism, be open minded and be willing to learn. We also are partners with / support several other communities and competitive teams (T³ Guardians, JKSeries.net etc). Terminative 3 itself isn't a clan or ESL team or what so ever. We are a community existing out of 'normal' acting and motivated / friendly JK3 players. Therefore we are a closed community (we have joining requirements). Not everyone can just make use of our more advanced services and also not everyone will fit into our community. We offer all kinds of services to our members, which people can make use of (don't have to). Members can still play everywhere they want, do what ever they want and next to that enjoy JK3 in a friendly, active and advanced Terminative 3 gameplay environment. Terminative 3 has got it's own passworded home (t3home2) and public server(s) (base ffa, tffa/ctf and duel) running. Feel free to join in on the public or guardians / voice server(s) we've got / support (here). Get to know us and we hope you will consider posting an application to join the community. You've got nothing to lose!

Terminative 3 stands for: coming to an end; "a contract terminative with the end of the war". Tending or serving to terminate; terminating; determining; definitive. The '³' stands for; skilled ownage within 3 seconds. The 3 also refers to the finders of the community.

Goal / purpose of Terminative 3: Helping / developing basic / real skilled (friendly) people. Finding friendly people with potential to be good. Training these people and keep them active for the long run. Teaching / keeping each other together in JK:JA. Terminative 3 wants to offer it's community members freedom and the chance to develop themselves  more in all the aspects they like in JK3. Terminative 3 will make sure that people enjoy the JK3 game more. Terminative 3 tries to offer it's members training within the community itself but also shows people ways to other aspects of the game and other communities / organizations.

Within Terminative 3 you can play and train with everyone. You can join different squads, play in leagues (ESL), train and have fun. Terminative 3 is a community, though we aren't open to everyone. We are a closed community and we select carefully on who we let in and who we let make use of our services.

Terminative 3 is specialized in helping people with dueling 1 on 1. Though, FFA / TFFA (2vs2), 2 vs 1 duels, ctf, and practically everything else which JK3 offers, is also part of the teaching and gameplay within Terminative 3. If we can't help our members in an aspect they would like to know more about, then we'll help them to get in contact with other people or communities who can help them. Terminative 3 recruits good / highly skilled (friendly) people and helps them to develop more within JK:JA. Recruiting is done by the managers. We recruit on friendliness and skill. In Terminative 3 we will help each other with getting a higher level of skill by playing much & teaching each other. Under 'skills' we do not only count the 'fighting in game part'. We also think of communicative and other social skills.

Further our community squads are willing to do competitive clan / team matches. Not everyone in T³ plays for example in a TFFA squad. People will all have / develop different functions within the community. Game servers: We play on several servers +/- our own servers. We also use Teamspeak / Vent to communicate. We use applications like; x-fire, icq, MSN, chatbox, PM (via the website), to communicate.

Terminative 3 members are often active within many different JK:JA communities. People who are in T³ can be part of other clans / communities / teams. T³ is only a place where you can gain skill and keep in touch with other people. Within T³ there are several projects involving; training, fun and competition. Community squads are created to suite the members (competitive gameplay) development.

If Terminative 3 is not a team but a community, then why is there an application process for joining ?

That is because Terminative 3 is a closed community. Terminative 3 has certain requirements which people will need to match before we think they are worthy enough to make use of our services and move themselves within the community. We don't want to let people in who disturb the environment we play, train and have fun in. Therefore we have an application process. When people get in, they can start making use of what we offer and just continue playing everywhere they want to play.

Terminative 3 offers it's members:

- Information about all sorts of JK3 related gameplay.
- Information about other mod / base communities.
- Opportunities for Master / Padawan relations.
- Tuesday (FFA), Friday (TFFA) Terminative 3 training.
- Competitive gameplay in squads (T³ Guardians).
- Incidental Training (Loose Trainings).
- Wednesday open recruitment session.
- Sunday padawan session.
- Terminative 3 Videos / Downloads
- A friendly environment to play in.
- Several (fun/training) events.

World Clock Time Explanation (must read).
Wed Jun 10, 2009 2:25 pm by Hugo
Hi all ::loveit::

Just to make sure that everyone (t3 and non-t3) knows when trainings, recruitment sessions etc start. Here is a short explanation.

Often Terminative 3 trainings and recruitment Sessions / other events start at 18:30 WET (GMT + 00:00). Now, because not everyone lives in the same timezone on earth, there always is a difference in time. We at Terminative 3 have our headquarters in Europe. Therefore we always use the WET (Western European Time). WET equals the GMT time + 00:00. Therefore often when we talk about the GMT time, we actually mean the WET time. WET and GMT are used through each other by a lot of people. This can confuse you. So to get all time confusions out of the way, and don't let you have to use your advanced math skills :P. We've introduced this page: WORLD CLOCK TIME. It is findable in the navigation bar of this website too, and you'll probably also find links to it, on several pages of this website / forum.

The World Clock Time page shows you the current WET time. This is the time we use. So when the clock on the World Clock Page shows '18:30' then we say it is 18:30 and a training, event or sessions which might be scheduled at that time will then be start. In short you could say: WET = The GMT time we use as a standard! (GMT + 00:00). There is no need to press on the location you life on this map! It is standard set to the current WET time, when you load the page! You can put this WET time next to your local time and check the difference. You will end up with a positive or negative number. This would be the amount of hours you need to count + or - the WET time, to get your own time. This way you can also calculate the current WET time by subtracting or adding this number to your local time (for me it is +1 for example I life in The Netherlands).

You don't have to do all these calculations though, if you want to know 'what time?' it is. Just check the World Clock Time page!

When nobody shows up on a training, event or session, trainers will mostly leave after 10 minutes of waiting, so be on time! It is preferable to always be there 5 minutes before the start of a training. This of course also applies on the Wednesday open recruitment session, and any other events.
